NEW! Our trip 2014

We are busy planning our trip to Monte Zoncolan for May 2014. Here some highlights:

• Travel days Wednesday May 28th - Sunday June 01st 2014
• Flights RyanAir
• Airport: Bergamo Orio Al Serio
• Arrival: Wednesday May 28th at 13:05
• Transport: 6-berth luxury motorhome "Adriatik 690 DK NEW" from our trusted Camper Valtesse, Gorle/Bergamo
• Follow-up of three Giro d'Italia 2014 stages
  Thursday May 29th: 18th stage, mountain stage finishing at Rifugio Panarotta (171 km)
  Friday May 30th: 19th stage, individual time trial from to Cimi Grappa (26.8 km)
  Saturday May 31st: 20th stage, with finish on the summit of Monte Zoncolan (167 km)
• Departure: Sunday June 1st at 06:55

18th stage: 29 May
Belluno - Rifugio Panarotta (Vallesugana), 171 km (mountain stage)                                                             

19th stage: 30 May
Bassano del Grappa - Cima Grappa, 26.8 km

 Our trip 2012

• Soon time for travel. Masa Z and Oopee Z will fly to Milan early on Sunday, May 20th. Rolling a flat trip on Sunday near Milan and cycling to Bergamo for picking up the motorhome on Monday morning. Joni Z will enter Italy on Monday.
  Perhaps a visit to Il Falco's Clusone and Ciclo Pellegerini for trimming the gearing on Monday?
  Then we will drive to Riva del Garda. The Giro makes a pass there on Tuesday and we will make a circle round the famous lake afterwards. Then it is all the way preparations to Thursday's great Zoncolan challenge.
• Travel days Monday 21 - Monday 28 May 2012.
  Flight schedule change Air Baltic: Masa Z and Oopee Z flying on Sunday May 20.
• Overall programme:
  May 21-22/23 warm-up cycling and entry-level socializing, Camping Brione, Riva del Garda.
  Cycling the major ascents in the area with the absolute highlight Monte Zoncolan (from Ovaro side) on May 24. Grand socializing and slug-it-out 1.000 € Bet. Money transfers.
  Passo di Stelvio (from Bormio side on May 26).
  Grand socializing.
  Back home.
• Large motorhome Adriatik 660 DP rented from our selected and trusted company: “Camper Valtesse“ (November 2011).
• Flight tickets booked: AirBaltic from Helsinki (Joni Z) and Tampere (Masa Z and Oopee Z) via Riga to and from Milan/Linate (booking October 2011).
