The Amstel Gold Race will start from the market at Maastricht and the finish will be situated on top of the famous Cauberg at Valkenburg again.
The Amstel Gold Race is part of the UCI Worldtour again.
Defending champion Philippe Gilbert will be hunting for his third win and will receive support from BMC teammate Cadel Evans.
Milan-San Remo winner Simon Gerrans will also start in the Dutch classic.
The winner of the Amstel Gold Race in 2006, Frank Schleck, has been confirmed to ride in this year’s Dutch cycling classic.
The Liquigas - Cannondale team have named Peter Sagan and Vincenzo Nibali for Sunday’s race.
Farnese Vini Selle Italia team will also feature two strong riders amongst its squad for race, namely Oscar Gatto and Filippo Pozzato. However the latter is still recovering from his crash in Paris-Roubaix, and it is uncertain how he will fare.
Unfortunately, Tom Boonen won't take part in the race next Sunday.
